Quando TestDisk viene eseguito, è possibile visualizzare la frase Please wait... sullo schermo fino a quando non ha raccolto abbastanza dati dal BIOS o del sistema operativo per ottenere l'elenco dati dell' hard disk.

Se la dimensione riportata non corrisponde alla dimensione del disco rigido - Es. un 120 GB di disco rigido è riconosciuto come un semplice disco 32 GB - controlla impostazioni del disco rigido nel BIOS e il jumper sul disco. Sui dischi rigidi più grandi, ci sono jumper per limitare la dimensione a soli 32 o 8 GB. Se il tuo HD viene rilevato di piu di 130 GB, il supporto LBA48 potrebbe non essere disponibile nel vostro sistema operativo - leggere le note del sistema operativo per ulteriori informazioni. Il passo successivo è quello di selezionare il tipo di tabella delle partizioni.

It's very rare for a drive to be 'Non-partitioned'.
